On 28th November 2025, Lovely Arms Montessori School (LAMS) carried out a heartwarming act of kindness as part of its annual harvest activities. A team made up of selected students and teachers visited the Save Them Young Orphanage located in Ashaiman to present donations gathered during the school’s harvest.
The visit was filled with joy, warmth, and a spirit of giving. Students helped pack and present various items, including foodstuffs, toiletries, and other essentials to support the children at the orphanage. Teachers guided the process and encouraged students to understand the value of generosity and community care.
Upon arrival, the LAMS team was welcomed by the staff and children of the orphanage. The atmosphere quickly became lively as students interacted with the children through conversations, smiles, and shared moments of fun. For many students, it was a meaningful experience that broadened their understanding of empathy and the importance of supporting those in need.
The staff of Save Them Young Orphanage expressed deep appreciation for the kind gesture, noting that the support would go a long way in improving the wellbeing of the children in their care.
This memorable outreach activity reflects LAMS’ commitment to nurturing not only academic excellence but also compassion, social responsibility, and a giving heart among its learners. The donation exercise was a success, leaving a lasting impact on both the students who participated and the children who benefited.
